We've added eleven new songs to our song pool and trimmed the whole thing down from 90+ songs to just 40. Here's why we've done this and all the links you'll need to access the playlists on Spotify and YouTube.
Our two main values of sung worship at Crown are for our singing to be Spirit-led and familiar. Our song pool is a big part of that second one. We want to have a small song pool so that even if you’ve only been coming for a few weeks, you’ll already be starting to feel at home. We’ll still sing other songs and hymns sometimes, and will leave space for spontaneous songs, but mostly we’ll be singing from our top forty.

If you’d just like to focus on the eleven new ones then we’ve got you covered:
We’ve also still got the old playlist available, if you were reliant on it for you morning jog or your just curious about what we cut out!
If you’ve been a Christian for decades, it can be hard to give up singing some of your favourites. I feel that, but then I’m reminded in Philippians 2:4 to ‘prefer the needs of others’ and 1 Corinthians 9 to innovate and change in order to reach new people with the gospel. Let’s make some new favourites and come with a renewed expectation of what could happen as we approach the living God together.
‘...you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering. You have come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge over all things. You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect. You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.’ (Hebrews 12:22-24, NLT)
