Our devotion to God is the greatest command.

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself’.

    Luke 10:27

Worship is not limited to singing together on Sundays but in the way we live out our whole lives. How we handle areas of life like our time and money are great indicators as to what we truly devote ourselves to. Our goal is devotion to Him with our whole lives; putting God first in everything that we do.

God never intended the Christian life to be a solo one. Our devotion to one another is part of God’s great design for us. Our love for one another is how the rest of the world knows we’re true followers of Christ.* In Acts 2, at the very outset of the early church they devoted themselves to fellowship. God has a great mission for us and He’s arranged it such that we get to go on it together.  Crown Church is to look from the outside like an extended family, one where genuine friendship, encouragement and support are commonplace.

“What then are the terms of discipleship? Let me give the answer in just two words: God first.”

    Oswald Smith
