  • Creation: Mondays matter

Historically, the wider church has adopted various stances toward culture; condemning it, critiquing it, copying it, or just consuming it. At Crown, we want to be people who cultivate: people who tend and keep what is good. And we want to be people who create: reclaiming the cultural mandate to be the creative cultivators that God designed us to be.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

    Col 3:17

Geographically, Crown is at the Western Gateway to London and we believe what goes on in the Capital impacts the rest of the nation and other nations. Crown members serve God in London throughout the week in industries such as the media, arts, education, business and the civil service. Brunel University students at Crown are moving into areas such as design and engineering.

We’re building a church full of people who want to make a difference in their community, their work place, and their world. People who use their passion and gifting to bring out the very best in God’s creation to have a positive influence in shaping society.

“I hope churches will take the risky path of celebrating their members who do not go into ‘full-time Christian service’ but who serve Christ full-time in their own arena of culture.”
