Whether in person or online, thank you so much for joining us for ‘Carols at Crown’.

We position our Carol service early in December to give every chance for students to join with us (they head home mid-December)- I don’t know about you though, having it earlier in December each year provides me with an early opportunity to centre this season (and the rest of my life) around the gift of Jesus.

Last night I got to spend some time with some people who are exploring faith in Christ- Carols at Crown was their first time at a Christmas church service- I couldn’t help but share their excitement and wonder as they were exploring God’s gift of Jesus to them. A small glimpse of what it must have felt like to be shepherds gathering to the manger… the dawning reality of God now being with us changing everything forever.

Thank you to everyone who served and made the event happen. Audiovisual teams, Set up, Set down, Musicians, Decorators… and not forgetting those who braved the cold on car park duties- thank you. Our kids’ workers did a fantastic job hosting the children who had a great time with the theatre company- thank you to you too.

If you want to keep enjoying the gift of Jesus afresh through December then I can highly recommend Andy McCullough’s (Guest Speaker) book The Bethlehem Story – if you enjoyed his message and it’s left you eager to know more then stick a copy on your Christmas wish list… The Bethlehem Story.

    Much love,
    James
