  • Alpha Online

Alpha is a chance to ask these big questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, non-pressurised environment. Each session includes a short film and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you.

When you sign up for the course, you'll receive a welcome pack in the post (compiled in a covid-safe way) and then we'll be in touch nearer the start date to give you the Zoom link for the course.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to ask the big questions of life.

    What is my purpose?

    What happens when I die?

    Why is there suffering?

These are important questions but probably not the best ones to ask your Amazon delivery driver. On the 15th September we’re looking forward to welcoming many people (local and further away) to our first ever Alpha course held online. If you’ve signed up, you’ll receive a link to click on that will take you into Zoom, from there just sit back and relax with a cup of popcorn tea. There’ll be a short welcome and then we’ll all watch a brilliant short film together, addressing some common questions about life and the Christian faith. After the film, you’ll automatically be assigned to a ‘breakout room’ with a small group of people who’ll you’ll get to know well during the course.

The technology is tried and tested, and many have said they’ve found the online course much easier to connect with than attending Alpha in person.

The added benefit of doing it online is that you can invite friends and family from anywhere in the world to attend with you!

For everyone who signs up, we’ll do our best to send a welcome pack that will include:

    - An Alpha Guide book to accompany the course
    - A meal kit from SimplyCook
    - A ‘tea temple’ from Teapigs (Popcorn flavour, perfect for watching the first session film together)
