    • James & Lucy Hunting

James serves as lead elder and works full-time for the church. After moving to West London in 1996, he started to lay the foundations for church leadership by finding a fantastic wife in Lucy and developing a robust humour and steadfast smile. They have four children and one God.

Stefan serves as an elder at Crown and also works as a University Teaching Fellow. If you've not been to Crown Church yet, it's worth it just to meet Stefan and his wife, Jackie. They serve as Life Group overseers and in many other areas of the church. Maybe one day you too can enjoy their cooking, a smooth fusion of South Africa and Jamaica.

    • Dan & Anna Smith

Dan and Anna tied the knot in 2009 and serve as Life Group overseers and in the Worship Band. Dan has been on staff at Crown Church since Jan 2011. He serves as an elder at Crown, and among other things, he leads our Worship Band and writes songs.

James and Zoe were married when he was still capable of a ‘flock of seagulls’ hair style. James serves as an elder at Crown and works as a Senior manager, leading process, quality and compliance teams. Zoe educates their four children and manages the busy home life and serves in the church Kids Work.

    • Ben Leaman

As our 'Support Manager', Ben has a big remit though he won't scream it. Overseeing the finances and administration of the church, Ben is also a key part of our strategic leadership. Married to Emma and with two daughters, he is a uniquely gifted and enjoyed man.

    • Anita Ryan

Anita lovingly tends to our financial accounts on a part-time basis and is also raising three children with husband Eoin. Has a contagiously happy disposition and a passion for cleanliness and order. Given her role, she spends a lot of time on a calculator; interestingly the world's first electronic, desktop calculator was invented in Uxbridge, appropriately named the Anita Mk VII

    • James Durrant

James has more capacity than a London bus, (and he will never leave you waiting in the rain). He leads our 'Submerge' 20s and students ministry with incredible passion and vision, and also works as a Technology Risk Consultant in central London.

    • Julian Shellard

Julian and his wife Debbie have been at Crown Church before it existed. They moved to West London believing that God was calling them to be part of a church plant. They and their three children have sacrificially served Crown, especially in Julian's ministry of leading the BFI team, serving international students at Brunel.

    • Abbie Walker

Abbie is our Children's Support Worker, responsible for overseeing the 0-11's at Crown. She is married to Sam and they have been a part of Crown since early 2016. She is a big fan of tea, and has enough tea pots to open a small cafe.

  • What values will shape our next decade?

    Devotion: Loving God and people
Our primary aim is to demonstrate love for God by putting Him first in every area of our lives. Loving other people is one the main ways that Jesus encourages us to show our devotion.

    Compassion: Moved to action
Action is the difference between compassion and sympathy. We want to be a church moved to action when we see social and individual needs.

    Creation: Monday matters
Christianity has been around for so long in the UK that it has largely become known as a religious Sunday routine. True Christianity is different; a relationship with God results in productivity and creativity in all areas of life and we want to encourage people to excel seven days a week.

    Freedom: Play your part
We want to be a community where everyone is accepted, integral and able to grow.

  • Launched in 2002, Crown Church has grown into a large, vibrant and diverse church. We have a welcoming-warmth that would rival your favourite sofa, and an excitement about what God might do next.

Based in London’s best borough, Hillingdon, we are in the prime location for having a positive impact on this great city and the rest of the world; being a New Ground church (part of Newfrontiers) we have strong links with other churches locally and internationally.

We are also part of the Evangelical Alliance wholly endorsing and enjoying their Basis of Faith as our own.

Here is our latest Annual Report.
